The Plan4all association, Czech Center for Science and Society, Club of Ossiach, the Agricultural Association of the Czech Republic and also members of the AFarCloud project – Lesprojekt-sluzby and Baltic Open Solutions Center are organizing a webinar series called Open Spring. This event is supported by ongoing projects, including the AFarCloud project.
This activity aims to support the Czech agricultural and open data communities including farmers, industrial partners, researchers, universities and the public sector and present recent developments and activities of the Czech AgriHub and its members.
This “webinar marathon” is dedicated to those who are interested in using open data in agriculture, education, the environment, spatial planning, tourism and transport. The audience will be acquainted with how to use open data in their own activities and applications for the needs of agriculture and other industries and also with modern trends in the field of spatial data.
Unfortunately, the situation associated with the COVID-19 pandemic does not allow the organisers to pass on this information in person through the annual Prague Week on Big and Open Data event, so that the format of this event turned into an online event called Open Spring. The webinars are held every Tuesday at 1pm CET starting on 12th January 2021 and will last four month until the end of April 2021.
The second stage of this marathon will include the traditional INSPIRE Hackathon where you will have the opportunity to try practically new technologies including the presented digital innovation hubs. Main organizers Plan4all, Czech Center for Science and Society and Club of Ossiach, Lesprojetk-sluzby and Baltic Open Solutions Center are open for cooperation and definition of the main goals of this hackathon.
